Kyema is a player and it ships empty. It does not sell or include channels, lists, subscriptions or content of any kind, and it does not host, broadcast or retransmit anything.
The sources are put there by you —a service you have subscribed to, free-to-air channels or your own library— and it is you who is responsible for having the right to use them. Without sources of your own the app is of no use to you: bear that in mind before paying for a licence. Terms of use and privacy.
The licence belongs to a device, not a platform. If you change TV, you take it with you: it moves from the web once every 30 days.
No typing with the remote: the TV shows two things and you do the rest from your phone.

There you have its number, its key and a six-digit code. Or a QR, if you prefer the camera.
Sign in on the web, add your accounts and add-ons, save. The app picks them up when it restarts.

If you sell the TV or factory-reset it, your credentials do not go with it.

The device number and key are enough. The account is for people with several devices.
Email and password, nothing else. It links up to three devices with the same setup, and from it you activate and renew them.
Reinstalling does not change it. If you change TV, you move it to the new one from the web, once every thirty days.
If the server does not answer, the app carries on for a few days with the last good reply.
